First step toward success: the first meeting at Zachary High School went very well.
Our mentors met with 13 students all having great potential and are very excited about working with the students at Zachary High.
Each student met one on one with a College Outreach mentor and filled out our preliminary questionaire. We also were able to visit with the students and learn their interests and aspirations for college.

After many hours of work, College Outreach.org is much closer to where we would like for it to be.
As you may have noticed, many things have changed and many things have been added in response to requests from students including the new interact forum, the resources library where you can access College Outreach resources (after registering), updates via Twitter.com, a new blog that will include updates and photos and most importantly updates to the core of our website has sped-up our website by more than 20 percent.
At College Outreach, our first concern is students: as a recent former student myself, I know how important it is to be able to connect and relate to those in your peer group as well as those a few years older. This (blog) section as well as the interact forum will give you insight from College Outreach national and chapter staff.
This is setup as a blog so that you can leave comments and discuss current events and topics as they are mentioned. To go more in depth with specific facets of College Outreach, please use College Outreach Interactive as it will have topics and discussions related to the mentoring process, scholarships, applications and preparations among others.
Thanks again for visiting us and we hope to see you soon.
