Jill Cutler

Jill Cutler did graduate work at the New School for Social Research in New York City, and then was on the editorial staff at Alfred A. Knopf before coming to Yale in 1979. She was one of the first residential college writing tutors, working in Davenport College for ten years. A professional editor and author of several books, she has been a lecturer in English since 1981 and has also held positions as associate and acting director of Summer Programs. She serves as Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs in Yale College.
